You are warmly invited to come and view my latest work – the series of paintings that comprise my exhibition ‘Wild Spirit’ – at the lovely Woodbridge Gallery in Moseley. It’s a unique opportunity to relax and unwind with beautiful, evocative images that have the power to take you into another world – of feeling, story and imagination.

‘Wild Spirit’ is raw art, born out of my visual and feeling responses to my world – particularly the nature landscapes which I love. The show explores how it is to ‘drop’ mind, and paint from heart and body, from the feeling and instinctual part of the self, following impulses without censoring, trusting the creative process.

All the paintings on show will be for sale.

Come and see my latest work, enjoy drinks and nibbles and good company. There will be a video running on continuous loop, showing people’s responses to my work when I took it out of the gallery into the streets and parks of Birmingham in August. I’ll also be talking briefly about my background as an artist, and why I believe that we are all creative.

‘Moving with Art’ Fri 7th Sep from 6-7pm

I will be moving and dancing my spontaneous responses to my paintings, the gallery environment – including you the audience – and my own feelings. During the second half, anyone who would like to is free to join me.
